School Story:
One memory that comes to mind was the burning of Central 6th Grade School. At first, I thought it was awesome, as we had a few extra days added to our winter break only to realize the huge devastation and inconvenience, not to mention the awful smell, the fire added to the second half of the school year. As a teacher and genealogist, I researched the history of “Central” and created a book to teach my students “How to be Authors.”
